This policy applies to the Whitebeam Support Android application and covers the dossier content you create in it, the local preferences it holds, and the actions you may take to export or share what you have written.

Information Stored on Your Device

Whitebeam Support keeps the working dossiers you create on the Android device itself. This local content is not automatically transmitted to the developer as part of the core workflow, and the app has no account system and no cloud synchronisation.

Where you add a photo to a dossier, the image is one you select yourself and it is kept as local app content on the device. Text-only use of the app remains possible where you prefer not to add images.

Exporting and Sharing Dossiers

The app can produce an export of a dossier, and this happens only when you choose it. Exports and shares are carried out through Android system actions, such as the share sheet or saving a file to a location you pick.

Your local content remains on the device unless you choose to export, copy, or share it. Exported files remain wherever you save or send them, and anything you share is handled by the app or service you send it to.

Opening External Services

Some actions inside Whitebeam Support open services outside the app, including your browser, your email client, a maps app, or the Android share sheet. These open only when you select them, and you decide whether to continue.

Those external services operate under their own privacy practices, and the company does not control what they do with information you provide to them.

Features the App Does Not Include

The app does not require login or account registration, does not include payment processing or subscription billing, and does not provide monetisation features.

Important Use Notice

Whitebeam Support is an organisational tool for collecting, grouping, editing, and exporting working business-support dossiers. Anything you produce with it is based on the information you enter, and it is intended as a practical record-keeping aid.

It does not provide legal, financial, insurance, regulatory, or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for formal professional review, sign-off, or regulatory clearance.

Retention and Security

Dossier content and local preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear the application's local data through Android settings, or uninstall the application.

Local content is held in the application's own storage on your device rather than on company servers. Protecting the device itself — for example with the screen lock you configure — remains with you, and you are likewise responsible for any exported or shared copies you keep elsewhere.

Your Data Rights in the UK and EEA

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may have rights under applicable data protection legislation, such as access, correction, deletion, or restriction, where those rights apply under the law and where personal data is being processed.

The core workflow keeps dossier content on your device rather than sending it to the developer. Content you create may contain personal information if you choose to enter it, and locally stored data can usually be managed on your device, including by removing the application.

Children's Privacy (13+)

The app is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. The company does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such information is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it or otherwise address the situation.

Changes to This Policy

The company may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the app or in applicable law. When the policy changes, the revision date shown alongside this document is updated, and the current version is the one that applies.
